Brandon W. Hudsonpillar, 23, a 1991 graduate of RCHS, died last Sunday from injuries he received in an auto accident the evening before.
Mr. Hudsonpillar, who has been living and Working in Fairfax, was one of three back seat passengers in a 1985 Toyota Celica who were thrown from the vehicle when it hit a tree near the bridge on Route 729, one mile north of Route 618 in Castleton. The accident occurred last Saturday about 7 p.m. according to State Trooper Charlie R. Fox. He said it appeared that the three were not wearing seatbelts, which are not required for back seat passengers.
Trooper Fox said the car, which was driven by Angela M. Zboray, 18, of Fairfax, apparently came around the curve too fast, estimated at roughly 70 mph. When it crossed into the pther lane, the driver overcorrected, and the car hit a tree off the right side of the road.
Ms. Zboray was airlifted to Fairfax Hospital along with Mr. Hudsonpillar and Gejorge Jeffrey Ocilka, 19, of Fairfax, who was sitting in the front passenger seat when the accident occurred.
Two other back seat passengers were transported to Fauquier Hospital and treated for minor injuries. They were Kenderick L. Wade, 20, of Fairfax, who was sitting behind the driver, and a 17 year-old female from Fairfax, who was seated in the middle of the back seat.
In a telephone conversation Tuesday morning a hospital spokesperson told the Rappahannock News Ms. Zboray and Mr. Ocilka
