School Billielee Ballard, is one of fortytwo students who has begun a twoyear culinary arts program at the New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont. Three hundred and thirty-six first-year students are enrolled at the Institute each year. She graduated from RCHS in 1992 and also attended James Madison University. Once Ms. Ballard has completed the six month residency at the Montpelier campus, she will spend six months on a paid, personalized internship.
