■:; By SHARON KILPATRICK * •] Rappahannock News Staff Writer * The School Board approved a new policy last week that will allow parents homeschooling their children to enroll them part time in public •schools, but the children must attend die public schools at least half time.
The board has had this policy on . the agenda for several months. In the past some homeschooling parents have approached the board about jgreater cooperation, but the board has turned down most of their requests . because the county could not get state - funding for part-time students. This year the state will provide funds for part-time students provided they attend at least half time, but the issue has been tabled several times, seeking more information.
