Book Day The public schools are having Book Day from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., this Thursday, Aug. 22, at both schools. There is no charge for regular books. This is an opportunity for parents to meet teachers and for students to pick up schedules. Land Use Assessments Applications, for revaluation of land use assessments have been mailed out by the Commissioner of Revenue’s Office and must be returned by Nov. 1. The office is also accepting new applications for land use taxation. For information or answers to questions call the office at 675-3513.
