Book Signing
Wayne B. Jonas, head of alternative medicine at National Institute of Health will be available at a book signing from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Cabin Fever. His new book is entitled “Healing with Homeopathy” and will be selling for $24.95. Mr. Jonas lives at Willow Pond in Woodville.
Lawn Party; Flea Market Set
There will be a Lawn Party/Flea, Market beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Willis Chapel Methodist Church, Huntly to benefit the restoration of Reager School. “Come have lunch, browse among the antiques, and reminisce with your former classmates,” said an organizer.
Jenkins Family To Gather
The annual reunion of the family and friends of the late Luther E. and Ada F. Jenkins will be held Aug. 25 at the Graves Mountain Lodge picnic shelter. Please bring a picnic lunch to share. Lunch will be sewed at 1 p.m.
Norman Reunion Planned
The annual Norman reunion will be held on Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Rappahannock Park on Route 211 in Washington. A picnic lunch will be served at the pavilion, rain or shine at 1 p.m.

Warren Memorial Hospital’s Depression Support Group meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month in Room 222 in the Education Department on the hospital’s second flbor. Benefit Festival Planned
Chestnut Run Village is hosting a festival to benefit the Sperryville Rescue Squad Aug. 30 through Sept. 2.
