Grace Hawkins
Mrs. Grace P. Hawkins, 62, of Culpeper, died on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at her residence.
She was bom in Rappahannock County on March 17, 1934.
She was a homemaker and a member of Alum Spring Baptist Church'.
Her parents were the late Clarence Pullen and Agnes Clatterbuck Pullen.
Her husband was the late Prince A. Hawkins.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda S. James of Culpeper; one son, Donnie W. Hawkins of Culpeper, five grandchildren, Susan James, Michael James, Steven James, Clarence Hawkins and Courtney Hawkins and two brothers, Ralph E. Pullen of Culpeper and Ellis E, Pullen of Columbia, S.C.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Annie Irene Clark of Rappahannock County and a brother, Leonard E. Pullen.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, Aug. 17 in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. John Miller and Elder Elmer Skeen officiating.
Pallbearers were Jack E. Hawkins, Fred Fincham, Larry Pullen, R.C. Pullen, Ellis E. Pullen Jr. and John M. Clark.

Clore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Clara Gay Snyder Updike, 86, of Washington died on Thursday, Aug. 15 at Fauquier Hospital.
She was bom June 9, 1910, in Rappahannock to the late Elbert and Mamie Snyder.
