Mrs. Welch added other memories to the list. ,“I was Baptized in' the church and grew up in the church. My fondest memory would have to be just coming to this beautiful church.”
They hope that others will have the opportunity to form such memories. Thus they are holding services once a month.
Mrs. Welch is certain that this will not take away from any other local churches. She says that they are trying to hold services at times which are different from those of other congregations. “We just have oodles of people that don’t go to church” in the Flint Hill area.
The next service will be Home Coming on October 13. Rev. John Divers, who preached there from 1955-1960, will deliver the sermon.
