The Board of Supervisors moved quickly through a long agenda with little or no controversy Monday in the first meeting of the new year.
With no opposition Wakefield District representative Hubert Gilkey was reelected chairman; Piedmont District representative Charles K. "Pete" Estes was reelected vice chairman; Hampton District representative Mike Massie was again selected as the supervisors' representative to the Planning Commission, and Jackson District representative Ron Frazier was selected to represent the board on the Planning District Commission.
The board voted to adopt the sixyear secondary road improvement plan. Warrenton Resident Engineer Robert Moore said they could expect five to seven Of the top priority items on the plan to be completed in 199798 fiscal year. *
