Classes, Workshops Scheduled The Rappahannock County Public Schools will offer adult education classes and workshops beginning Feb. 3, 1997. A partial list of classes and workshops includes Computer Basics, Ballroom Dancing, Line Dancing and Texas Two Step, Photography, Drawing/Painting, Quilting, Basic Life Skills, CPR, and HTML Computer Language. Brochures with complete class listings will be available on Jan. 13. Copies of the brochure will be available after that date at the following locations the Rappahannock County School Board Office, the Elementary School's Main Office, the High School's Main Office, and the Rappahannock Library. Birthday Celebration Set A Martin Luthei;King Jr. birthday celanration will be heldat-&30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19 at the Theatre in Washington. The eventns sponsored by the J.E. Bodie Scholarship Committee. Mr. Bob Weinberg will be\he speaker. There will be several skits by Nanetta Butler Roberts and the depicting stages of Dr. King's life will be performed. Master Gardener Training The Fauquier County Extension Office will conduct the 1997 Master Gardener Volunteer Training Program during February and March. Classes will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a m to 11:30 a.m. at the Extension Olfice in Warrenton. The first class will’be Feb. 4. The Master Gardener Program involves 50 hours of classroom instruction. Upon completion of the classroom portion, participants are required to return 50 hours of volunteer service to the program. The cost for the program is $75, which includes the Virginia Master Gardener Handbook Persons interested in the program should call 341-7950.
