Rosser Jenkins
Rosser Raymond Jenkins, 96, of Amissville, died on Sunday, Dec. 29 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
He was bom July 1, 1900, in Sperryville to the late James Jenkins and Mary Burke Jenkins.
Survivors include seven children, Martha Garr of Culpeper,' Mary Woodward of Martinsburg, W.Va., Violet Wood of Amissville, Lorraine Speakes of Manassas, Helen Marshall and S&sie Gallahan, both of Catlett and Cathy Brown of Rapidan.
He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildrfen and 34 great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Jenkins; one son, James Jenkins; three brothers, Alpheus Jenkins, Virgil Jenkins, Ernest Jenkins and one sister, Eva Jenkins.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Jan. 3 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Clyde R. Woodard and Gertrude Muddman officiating. Interment followed in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
