Upcoming Events

Adult Education Classes Set

Free night adult education classes are again available in Rappahannock County. Classes meet in the basement of the Rappahannock County Public Library from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. New students are asked to come for the first time on Wednesday, when the staff is larger. Instruction in math, language, and GED preparation is given. Community Dinner Set

The Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department is sponsoring a community dinner and awards banquet at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10 at the fire hall. Meat and drinks will be provided. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish. For more information call 635-6392 or 636-3279.

Support Group To Meet

The BlueRidge Head Injury Support Group will meet from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 in the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church. Ail survivors, family members and friends are welcome. For information, transportation, directions or support call Pat Salmon at 675-3137.

Membership Meeting Planned

RAWL annual membership meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23 at the Rappahannock Library. The public is invited to attend. Election of the 1997 Board of Directors wil be held and light refreshments will be served.
