The Rappahannock Farmers Association and the local Extension Office are sponsoring a program on the Agricultural Stewardship Act (ASA) starting at 7 p.m. next Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Washington Fire Hall.

The ASA is intended to address the issue of water pollution caused by agricultural activities. Anyone can make a complaint that an agricultural activity is causing water pollution, and the act provides a mechanism to investigate the complaint.
