Share the Fun Show Scheduled

The 4-H Share the Fun Talent Show will be held Feb. 15 at the Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in performing can pick up a registration form at Rappahannock County Elementary, High School or the Extension Office. Rehearsals begin Thursday, Jan. 9 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. For further information, please call the Extension Office at 675-3619 or Hazel ZinnDay at 937-3185.

Classes Underway

Shorin-Ryv Okinawan Karate classes are currently underway on Wednesdays at Ki Theatre on Gay Street in Washington. Junior classes will be held 4 to 5:30 p.m. and women and senior citizens from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For more information call Arthur Drago, 5th Dan at 635-7554 or Betsy Toth, 2nd Dan at 349-0632. You may join the class at anytime.

Celebration Planned

They might be running from their shadows in other places but in Rappahannock County "Groundhogs Just Wanna Dance” will be the celebration at 8 p.m. on Feb. 1 at the Community Center. Friends of Gaia will present an encore of the psyche circus. Also returning will be Linda Ramer's Gaia Ramma Jamma and new work from Kim Doyle and her students. There will be an admission charge of $5.

Blood Drive Scheduled

The next American Red Cross bloodmobile is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Piedmont Technical Education Center in the auditorium. Your donations of blood are vitally important to patients in the community hospitals. For further information, call the CulpeperMadison Chapter of the Red Cross at 825-8611.

Red Cross To Offer Classes

The Culpeper-Madison Chapter of the Red Cross will offer the following classes in January 1997:

Adult CPR — Infant & Child CPR-First Aid on Friday, Jan. 7, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, Jan. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $45. Babysitter Course will be offered on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $20. Minimum age for this class is 11 years.

Pre-registration is required. Be sure to enroll early, as space is limited. For more information on classes, recertification, or service provided by the Red Cross, call the office at 825-8611 or come by any weekday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
