is the person with the most knowledge, of the breast cancer programs and is our coordinator for the Relay For Life.
Our new president, Paige Coombs, is determined to bring more members onto the board. That is because it is the board that does the work. We are not a planning commission who then looks for others to do the work. We are the workers.
For those who remember the old days and the doptUo door collector, it may surprise diem to know how much we do. In March wbvwill begin the push for the Relay For Life which will be May 30-31 at Airlie. That is such grand place to have it, as all the unify can get together and have a party. Also, the venue is lovely. Also in March, I will begin a newsletter to send to doctors and churches. We hope to get our message out. We want people to known that we have a support group for breast cancer patients or we will drive them to the hospital for treatment. As a 40-year survivor of cancer, 1 feel this most deeply. At 19,1 was immortal and then I was not. There were no support groups, just Mom and Dad which was fine. But I was in college and sometimes it was hard to handle. Well, we want people to know that they are not alone if they want help.
The more people know, the more lives we will save.
