The other request before the commission was by Eddie and Charles Sutphin for the construction of a family apartment, a separate house type apartment, on their property for the purpose of allowing Charles’ son to live there.
The commission approved the request with conditions. The Sutphins own a tractor repair operation which is also located on the property. The commission is requiring a revised site plan which clearly shows the location of all existing and planned structures and dilenneates where the boundaries on the property are. The §6tphins will present the revised site plan to the Board of Zoning Appeals which meets Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the courthouse for that purpose.
There was also discussion of the issue of whether bed and breakfast operations should be able to serve breakfast to people not staying at the B&B.
Dr. Werner Krebser introduced the issue and it will be on next month’s agenda.
