enough girls within the league. The league is for 7-12 year old girls and the RAA thinks they mjiy attract more participants now because they are going to use an 11 inch soft softball, like T-ball. Smaller players can hit it better. They will only play the infield positions and field teams .of six to seven players which will allow for more teams. They’ll be able to play in their own groups and not have to travel. So they’re hoping it will enhance the girls participation.
