high regard for Capt. Brown. He spoke openly about Capt. Brown’s sincere dedication to the children, his long hours of work, and the fine example he provides. Major Rick MacWelch of the Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Settle then presented a framed Certificate of Appreciation to Capt. Brown for his fine tireless work. The DARE program is largely made possible by funding from local service organizations and private individuals. With growing financial support Rappahannock students and Parents will continue to benefit from an expanded DARE Program.
