Like the Olympics a lot of planning takes place to bring recognition to the missionaries and their mission fields. The conference also enables those of us who support mission to have a hands on experience with the mission work. Reynolds Memorial Church is also proud to be taking a leading role in this conference through April Heddleston who is the World Mission Conference Director for the Shiloh Baptist Association.
We hope that you will take advantage of all the special events planned and the opportunity to hear speakers tell and show how other cultures live.
The kick off for the World Mission Conference will be held at Culpeper Baptist Church on March 21. The week long conference will begin at 6 p.m. with a dinner around the world. All participating churches from Rappahannock, Culpeper, Madison, and Orange counties will serve dinner in setting representing a mission field with food and other items from that country. You will be able to move from one ethnic food to the other. Following the dinner around the world those in attendance will be entertained by drama, puppet show and there will be an opportunity to meet the missionaries.
