An area student at Lynchburg College recently received dean’s list honors for the Fall 1997 semester.
Lynchburg College is a private college in Central Virginia enrolling 2,000 students in liberal arts and science studies, as well as professional and graduate degree programs.
Laura McNear, daughter of Richard and Nancy McNear of Washington is a sophomore health and movement science major at the college.
McNear is a 1996 graduate of Mercersburg Academy.
