Southern Persuasion will bring their own brand of entertainment to the Flint Hill fire hall this Saturday for a dance to be held from 9 p.m. to whenever, says Steve Dennis, vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
The five-member band is working to raise money in order to finance the making of their first CD which they hope to release this June. The group has been together for three years and the members have remained the same with the exception of Bill Harris, who quit playing to do lights and sound for the band.
Dennis heads things up and Aaron Murphy is lead guitarist and also plays mandolin. Lou Warner divides his talents between guitar, synthesizer, steel guitar and harmonica. Paul Colandonato, on bass and Joe Jones, the drummer, round out the group.
