“The audience liked them too and even learned some of them and will sing them as they daince. So we decided to record our own CD.”
The CD will be a standard mix — some sad, some upbeat — of Jones’ songs and will be a country music disc. The group does everything from Alan Jackson to Molly Hatchet, Dennis says, but this CD will be original and country in flavor.
Most people would think that coming up with original music and perfecting the songs would be the difficult part — not so. The real work began when they started recording, said Dennis. They have recorded in the studio for about 20 hours so far and are going back this Sunday.
