Once a roadside collection is completed, participants are to call TFR coordinator Hunt Harris at the Ragged Mountain Resource Center, 987-3366, so he can visit the location and certify the collection.
Then Harris will contact VDOT for removal to the landfill. In order to qualify you must leave your bags at your site and contact Harris for verification. Word of mouth is not acceptable.
Bags must contain legitimate roadside trash and will be checked. Please be fair and honest about this. Disqualified will be such items as sand, dead animals, manure, household trash, etc.
