Benefit breakfast planned

An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be held Saturday, March 21 at Rappahannock Elementary School to benefit Sharon Scott. Serving will be 7 a m. to 11 a m. and costs are $6 for adults (11 and older) and $3 for children 10 and under. Pat Jenkins is in charge of food service. The benefit is sponsored by the Rappahannock County Fire Association.

Brain Injury Support Group to meet

The Blueridge Brain Injury Support Group will meet Saturday, March 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Parish Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church on the corner of Gay and Middle Streets in Washington. Membership meeting planned

The Rappahannock Animal Welfare League will be holding a membership meeting to elect the Board of Directors for 1998 on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library.

Band Boosters to meet

The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 at the Rappahannock County High School Library. All are welcome.

Spring event scheduled

The annual Spring event at the Washington Baptist Church will be held Saturday, April 25. The event will include a bake sale, Grandma’s attic sale and a silent auction. There will also be food and drinks. All proceeds will benefit the Washington Baptist building fund.

Golf lessons offered

Golf lessons are being offered at Viewtown General Store. Five, one hour lessons will begin Sunday, March 22 at 5 p.m. Dan Finnertv, a Nitro Senior Tour player will be giving the lessons. Goif clubs and balls will be supplied. Call Margaret or John Wiese at 937-9909 for information.

Beekeepers to meet

The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its March meeting at 7.30 p.m. Thursday, March 19 at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building at the corner of Davis Street and South West Street, Culpeper.
