Local Boy Scout Troop 123, and scout leader Tammy Pullen, at left, held their Blue and Gold Dinner on Feb. 28. Other scout groups performed skits and made presentations during the evening. The Webelos II conducted the Arrow of Light Ceremony, at left bottom. The Arrow of Light is the Cub Scouts highest award and the only cub scout badge that can be worn on the Boy Scout uniform. Scouts receiving the award were: Ethan Berry, Marc Deal, Max Haynes, Humberto LePelch and Michael Thiel. Their special guest speaker Capt. Pierre J. Thuot, below, former Naval officer and astronaut.
