The vehicle was traveling too fast on a rain-slicked road when it veered off the road in the sharp curve at Mayhugh’s. In an attempt to overcompensate, the vehicle hit an embankment and flipped over. There were no injuries.
The names of the driver and passengers were not available at press time. Carter said that the car was totaled.
