American working in Mexico.

Her life there lasted 35 years, including several years after her husband's death.

In 1980 she returned to the United States, and while visiting her cousin Lois Manookian. decided she would like to live in Rappahannock County.

Renting an apartment on the second floor of the Biddle/Day/Semmes house, known as the Old Parsonage, she spent 15 happy years as a resident of Flint Hill.

Many people will remember her gracious spirit and hospitality. She will be missed by all of us.

Interment will be in Massachusetts.
