The Rappahannock County Sherrif’s Department has reported that an unknown assailant damaged some mailboxes and cracked a couple of vehicle windshields along Rudasill Road in Woodville during the morning hours of March 29.
Sherrif Larry Sherertz said that in past incidents, damage was done using firecrackers and cherry bombs. Although he is not certain, he believes that they may have been used in this case.

The Sperryville Fire Department responded to a fire during the evening hours of March 31 in the town of Sperryville.
According to town Fire Chief Richie Burke, the resident was burning leaves in their backyard. The fire got out of control and spread to a nearby shed. The fire was contained and extinguished in a few minutes. The building and its contents suffered minimal damage. House fire in Amissville
