• A Variety Extravaganza is being planned for the evening of May 22. Student talents will be show cased for this special fundraising event. Stay tuned.
• A French exchange program is looking for families that will invite a student into their home for 3-4 weeks this summer. The students are 1320 years of age, fully insured and come with their own spending money. A host family is asked to provide room and board, friendship and understanding. What a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this world in which we live. Interested? Call Ms. Christy Sander at 987-8575.
• RCES PTO raffle tickets will be on sale from April 13 May 13. Grand prize is a set of 14 beanie baby bears. They wilL be on display in the display case in the lobby of RCES for eveiyone to see. This raffle will be the biggest fundraiser of the year for the PTO which supported many valuable programs at RCES throughout the year. Thanks for your support.
• Don’t forget to sign your child up by May 14 for Coach Rhonda Jenkins’ Summer Basketball Camps. The camps will take place the week immediately following the close of school. Registration forms may be obtained through the RCES office.
• The Spring Session of C.A.S.E.(Community After School Enrichment) will begin on April 19 and run for four weeks. Classes offered this time will include Art, Basic Computer Skills, Wrestling, Volleyball, Sign Language, Music (Craft and Performance), Dance and Foreign Cultures. Applications, which may be picked up at RCES, must be returned by Friday, April 9. Classes fill up really quickly, so register early!
