Since March is a traditionally slow month for us at Thistle Hill B&B/Unique Catering, Marianne and I engaged my brother and his wife "to tend the shop” for us.
Last year, on the wonderful European trip we were able to take before my son and his wife left our employ, we met a woman from Australia who invited us "down under” to pick Mangos.
The ideal time would be just after Christmas or early January. Immediately we began to look into the possibility, nut were put off by the high fares. But the idea had been planted and was nourished by ongoing e-mail correspondence with our new friend. She said to come anytime.
One day the mail produced an offer from American and Qantas Airlines that would make it all possible, except that the timing was off for Mangos. We locked into the special and sent a message to
