TFR Coordinator ‘99
This has been a banner week in the TFR ‘99 program this year, with most roads in the county showing at least some signs of participation, and several hundred bags reported having been collected, some by group “collectives”, some as individual efforts.
There have at present been just over 1,000 bags and miscellaneous bits of garbage collected that have been reported, and probably quite a few that have been collected yet not reported (please remember to turn in your cards, as well as call/email your collection efforts to 987-3366 or hunt@mnsinc.com).
We have decided to make the weekend of April 17-18 the “Grand Finale” for the TFR program this year, and there is a big clean-up scheduled for a site on Route 231 from 9 a.m. ‘til dark on the April 17 that needs volunteers, call 675-3342 or 987-3366 in addition to making one last effort to contribute to local causes, while cleaning
