The Culpeper-Madison-Rappahannock Farm Show celebrated
50 years as a farm show this year. It was great to reminisce the past and reflect on the many people and businesses that were instrumental in the development of the CMR Farm Show. The CMR Farm Show could not exist without the generous contributions made by local businesses.
The 50th anniversary committee members wish to thank the many alumni and all the 4-H Clubs who donated pictures and created posters depicting the memorabilia for the museum exhibits and to Marvin Bates, George Beard, Mason Hutcheson, and Ted Gore who spoke at the Alumni Ceremony.
The Saturday evening events were topped off with a barbecue served by Roger Furr and Company from Harrisonburg. A special thank you goes to the extension agents and technicians from Culpeper, Madison, and Rappahannock for providing intercom equipment and organizing the different shows.
