and RCHS, with the performance being held at RCES in late July. Students worked diligently under the caring and talented hand of Mrs. Theresa Light, and the performances were fabulous.

Another arts activity was made available to students in order to enrich them and to boost our excellent band program. Mrs. Lynne Fournier, Band Director, coordinated weekly music lessons for band students. She taught flute lessons and brought in a number of other instructors who also specialize in particular instruments. These lessons took place at RCES throughout the summer.

Our remarkably dedicated RCES teachers sometimes appear not to notice that the school year has ended. They keep showing up anyway! Sixteen of our teachers have given up chunks of their summer to produce what we call “Standards of Learning
