realization of a dream that was more than 20 years old. The Kellerts run all aspects of the wine business from this location: agriculture, production and marketing. Their daughter Amy and son also help run the winery in addition to four part-time, seasonal workers.
Gray Ghost Winery is a member of the Virginia Vineyards Association, Virginia Wineries Association, American Wine Society and German Wine Society. They are also part of the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society tours.
Ever wonder where the Kellerts got the name for their winery? This area is located in the southern end of what was known as Mosby’s Confederacy during the civil war.
