Gray Ghost Winery is a member of the Virginia Vineyards Association, Virginia Wineries Association, American Wine Society and German Wine Society. They are also part of the Stuart-Mosby Historical Society tours.

Ever wonder where the Kellerts got the name for their winery? This area is located in the southern end of what was known as Mosby’s Confederacy during the civil war.

Because Mosby was able to infiltrate enemy lines without being detected or suffering major losses, the Union Army began referring to him as the “Gray Ghost.” The vineyards is located on one of the routes
