Slye did an estimated $6000 worth of damage to his 1988 Ford. The other vehicle was not damaged. Slye has been charged with failure to drive to right of center of highway.
A two vehicle accident occurred oh U.S. 522 south of Route 632 just before 10 a.m. on Aug. 15. Cecil Williams, 58, of Huntly tried to make a left turn without giving a signal. James Myer, 30, of Springfield,Va. tried to pass on double solid lines driving a 1999 Suzuki motorcycle, hitting Williams’ 1984 Lincoln. Damage to the vehicles was estimated at $800 each. Myer has been charged with improper passing. Williams has been charged with failure to give a turn signal.
