Accepting the check from Lion Kermit Weakley was Washington’s Chief, Roger Roach. The department plans a benefit celebration Saturday, Aug. 19 in honor of the Town of Washington’s 240th birthday. If will feature food, music and sports, with all ! proceeds to benefit the fire department.
