The Culpeper-ShenandoahRappahannock Junior 4-H Camp had a great week of camping, also, at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center. We had beautiful weather and lots of fun.
Rappahannock County 4-H volunteer leaders for the week were Holly Propst teaching art, Jennifer Gray teaching crafts, Cheryl Taylor teaching archery, and Shannon Swain teaching basketry. Also attending was Delegate Jay Katzen.
Thirty-eight campers and 12 teen leaders attended camp from Rappahannock County along with 200 other campers, adults, and teen counselors. We wish to thank the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office for the “Christmas in July” program donation which sent many Rappahannock children to camp this summer. Without their donation, a large portion of these children could not have attended these 4-H camps.
