The board approved two signs to go over the windows on the front of Tanya Richey’s building on Main Street. One sign is for Cordelia and Company, and the other is for R.H. Ballard Fine Art and Rugs. The vote was 3-0, with Ms. Richey abstaining.

• Diane Bruce received approval for numerous improvements to her home on Gay Street, so that the second floor may be used. Changes include the addition of dormers in the roof, raising the shed roof over the front door, pergola-style walkway leading to

the existing front door to meet the porch (roof and replacement of roofing materials.

• The board gave approval for Lisa Leftwich and Alan Alder to add a dormer to the rear of a house on Wheeler Street.

The next ARB meeting is scheduled for Sept. 9.
