Members and guests of Jefferson ton Baptist Church enjoyed a Homecoming Day meal to celebrate 226 years of service on Sunday, Aug. 15, after morning worship. Guest speaker, Gary Hundley from Gate City and a former member of Jeffersonton Baptist Church, shared hjs testimony with the congregation. The rain held off to give everyone a chance to enjoy the great food and the warm fellowship.
Revival services for Jeffersonton Baptist Church will begin with the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 22 with Rev. Alpheus Atkins as guest speaker. Everyone is invited to come out to hear Rev. Atkins preach God’s word and enjoy the special music with services beginning at 7 p.m. beginning Monday, Aug. 23 through Thursday, Aug. 26. Nursery will be provided.
