Staff members have been busy in other ways, too. There have been two voluntary all-day workshops this summer, both of which were well attended by RCES staff. A graduate level course from the University of Virginia was taught at RCES for staff members who opted to take it. For most of two weeks we focused on learning more about the teaching of reading.
