RoughRide scheduled

The third annual Rappahannock RoughRide will be held at 10 a.m. in Washington on Sept. 18. A charity, “Tour de Rappahannock” with three different routes will benefit the Fauquier Free Clinic, which provides health care for the residents of Rappahannock and Fauquier counties. Norman family reunion set

The annual Norman reunion will be held at the Rappahannock Park on Aug. 29. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and bring a picnic lunch.

Memorial service planned

A memorial service honoring Delores “Dodi” Mary Driscoll (Jan. 22, 1950 to July 17, 1999)... eulogy and celebration of her service to children and their families will be held Aug. 23 at 1 p.m. at the Jeffersonton United Methodist Church on Route 802 with Rev. Bryan McClain.

Program offers help to quit smoking

Warren Memorial Hospital offers Quit for Good, an eight-week smoking cessation program designed to help smokers prepare to quit, quit and maintain a non-smoking lifestyle.
