Sometime during tlie evening of Aug. 9 or the early morning of Aug. 10, someone took some furniture from the porch of the Thrift Shop ,in Washington. Stolen were a round table, and a matching gold and yellow sofa an'd chair with matching plaid cushions. A truck was spotted in town the night of the ninth carrying furniture. However, no other information is available. The Sheriff’s Office<3s investigating the theft. Damage to property
During the afternoon of Aug. 15, a resident in the 600 block of Scrabble Road reported that she found bullet holes in her wall and a bullet casing on her floor. The resident reported that a neighbor was shooting target practice earlier. An investigation is under way. - —
