For the second year in a row, Reed Gillespie, a social studies teacher at Rappahannock County High School, will coach the varsity boys basketball team at Rappahannock County High School.

Gillespie says the team could do really well with all the talent on the new team. He says the practices are going as well as he has ever segn. Prior to being the head coach, Gillespie was the assistant coach for three years.

Gillespie says that all the guys want to play basketball. In order to do this, they must have talent at the sport, but academics must be their to#, priority. Gillespie hands out grade sheets onpe every two weeks to evaluate how his team is doing academically.
