their poor diets, looking for a way to feel good. Many children never eat raw fruits or vegetables, but subsist on a diet high in fat, sugar and salt. I have seen children with colas in their hands at breakfast* time!
The right foods do have the power to heal, just as the wrong foods can cause sickness, rapid aging and, in time, premature death. If you are not eating foods that are healthy and vital with nutritional value to properly feed the body, your energy level will be low, you will get sick a lot, and you will crave stimulates for energy, such as sugar and caffeine. And you will be hungry all the time.
A balanced diet
It is not hard to eat healthy, it just takes awareness and knowledge. A balanced diet will consist of:
• Animal protein, such as lean cuts of meat, chicken, turkey and fish. Or plant protein, such as beans, grains, nuts, seeds, tempeh and tofu.
