Calvin Coolidge Putnam, 74, of New Market died Thursday, Nov. 25 at Life Care Center in New Market.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday at Orlean Cemetery by the Rev. William R. Withers.
Mr. Putnam was born Sept. 17, 1925 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Noah B. and Mary Grimsley Putnam.
He was a retired body and fender mechanic and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was the husband of Geneva Putnam.
Surviving are a son, Wayne Putnam of Stanley; two sisters, Thelma Poe of Buckton and Hazel Cooke of Amissville; a granddaughter and a greatgranddaughter.
Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.

Clara Leake Sisk, 97, of Culpeper died on Monday, Nov. 22 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
She was born May 29, 1902 in Rappahannock County to the late Samuel Leake and Evie Burke Leake.
