Guitarists bring

jazz to Theatre

Two renowned jazz guitarists from New York, Gene Bertoncini and Frank Vignola, will join forces on Dec. 4 at The Theatre at Washington, for an evening of jazz solos and duos. The program will be introduced by Randall Kremer of the Smithsonian Institution.

This concert is the Theatre’s last presentation of 1999. But planning for the next millennium is well underway. And the new year will open at the Theatre, on Jan. 23, with a concert by another jazz musician from New York, pianist Bill Charlap playing music of Broadway, Scott Joplin and, of course, jazz.
