Shaving cream, paint and explosives are also made from dry-pressed peanut oil. I also learned that an important part of plastics is derived from peanut oil. Residues from all this pressing makes excellent food for stock.
There is so much more to goobers and groundnuts than bird food and a handful of salted peanuts to which I am addicted.
