Please mark your calendars to reflect the following early dismissals and school closings. There will be an 11 a.m. early release on the last day of the grading period for grades kindergarten-seventh on Wednesday, Jan. 19. There will be no school on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 27 and 28.
• Please plan to attend parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, Jan. 27. It is so important that you make the effort to visit the schools and talk with your child’s teacher(s). It is amazing what an impact this can have on your child’s performance in school. Studies have shown that when children see that their parents are interested and truly care about their performance in the classroom, they work harder and do better.
• The RCHS Girls’ Volleyball Team has three scheduled home games this month. On Friday, Jan. 14 they will play Strasburg at 6:30 p.m.; on Friday, Jan. 21, Clarke County,; and on Wednesday, Jan. 26, Madison County. Plan to attend and support our won-' derful athletes!
