• Mary Ann Biggs reported on donations: two for the Transition Program including' $210 from James McGill and computers valued at $1500 from Darrell Klopp; $150 for the track fund from the Track Fund Committee; and three anonymous donations totaling $900 for staff development.

• A new school board member orientation program, sponsored by the Virginia School Board Association, will be attended next week by Rosa Crocker and Franklin Warner.

• Dr. Gangel reported that the RCHS addition is on schedule, with the slab pouring completed and three-quarters of the band room walls up. He also noted that, due to problems with County fuel tanks, the State Police will begin to use the school systems fueling facilities, and will reimburse the County at cost.

• Elementary school water tanks require repair or replacement, according to Dr. Gangel, because of problems; with water appearance, but not quality.
