1. Irish Rebels, Confederate Tigers, by James P. Gannon. This book has an unfair advantage in our k<4 shop, in that the author sits at the front desk and shamelessly promotes it. It’s hard for anyone to get out of the shop without hearing about it. More people bought this book than any other,, but it is not known how many did so just to shut up the author. The book tells the history of a Louisiana Confederate Regiment that was composed mostly of Irish immigrants from New Orleans and fought the war in Virginia.
2. Battle Mountain Affair, by Dan Hitt. Another Civil War book by a Rappahannock County native, this self-published little book tells the
