Back in 1998, Nealon came to Rappahannock to be a technical supporter at Blueridge Technologies in Flint Hill. But he says, after nearly two years “I had self employment thrust upon me one day without any warning. Ultimately, this was a good thing.”
Moving to
Rappahannock
After leaving Blueridge Technologies, Nealon, his wife, Maryellen, and their two daughters, Lily and Eve, moved to Rappahannock County. The main reason: they wanted to send their children to this county’s school system.
The Nealons bought a home in Chester Gap and Mr. Nealon resumed working with clients in the Washington, D.C. area where he had originally come from. Nealon’s initial plan was to build a home in Flint Hill for his family.
